Who are we?
Beyond the Blurb is a literary blog that was created to share, discuss, and collaborate on all things literary. We wanted to show people that reading should not be feared, it should be cherished, thought-provoking, and accessible to those willing to experience the adventure. We love to read and through this blog we want to share that love to anyone interested in hearing a new story

I am a 22-year-old English postgraduate student studying MA degree in Global Literary Business Management. I aspire to work as an editor for a publishing house and to eventually go on to teach at a university level.

My favourite reads are from minority writers about minority experiences, but I do enjoy a variety of genres, especially Sci-Fi and fantasy.

I want to share the literature that I discover and start conversations about them and important topics about the world around us.

I'm a 27-year-old English graduate, out of work, and endlessly trying to get into publishing. In the meantime, I'm going to share my thoughts and opinions on all things literature.

Solent University English team opened my eyes and heart to some of the world's greatest authors. I don't have one specific genre to discuss as I enjoy a variety.

What I can promise you is this: be prepared to talk about controversial topics and share your own opinion if you disagree with my own.
